To provide ongoing resources
        for research, education, training, and treatment for mental illness
        in children. According to the U.S. Surgeon General, about 20%
        of American children suffer from a diagnosable mental illness
        during a given year. Further, nearly 5 million American children
        and adolescents suffer from a serious mental illness that significantly
        interferes with their day-to-day life.
        
The financial resources will
        come from a percentage of royalties from book sales, merchandising,
        marketing partners, television, empowerment retreats, shopping
        malls, business opportunities, and the Tommy Diamond Coffee Company.

Diamond Hearts, a planned, innovative
        research and education foundation, is dedicated to the early
        detection and treatment of mental illness, primarily in children.
        Prevention, treatment, and risk factor identification, guided
        by a passionate, well patient philosophy, supplied by a global
        empowerment and educational foundation of humanitarian philanthropy.

Curing the mind is not done by
        drugs alone, but also by the care and compassion a child receives.
        
Our Philosophy of Diamond Hearts
        has inspired us to develop programs that focus on self-help,
        and personal growth, both emotional and spiritual. It is with
        this combination of care, treatment, and research, that Diamond
        Hearts will be a world-wide leader in the fight against mental
        illness in children with anxiety disorders, disruptive behavior
        disorders, eating disorders, learning and communication disorders,
