Labor Day Television Parade Is your car a star? Do your wheels make people stop and say, "wow!" If so, you and your ride are invited to a virtual casting call to participate in a televised "Parade of Patriots" scheduled to take place on September 4.
The parade will begin at the historic Route 66 Museum at the Harvey House in Barstow and end at Mavericks Stadium in Adelanto. It is the kick-off event of the Tommy Diamond's Route 66 Autorama and Lifestyle Expo and will be broadcast into more than 10.5 million households from the Mexican border to San Luis Obispo on the Time Warner, Charter and Verizon Fios Networks.
Event producers are seeking top-quality vehicles to feature as the stars of this televised event. To qualify, vehicles must be in pristine condition and must be a hot-rod, a pre-1973 classic vehicle, a motorcycle, a Corvette (any year) or custom ride.
Potential parade participants may download a registration from Parade Registration Form and submit to: American Spirit Network, 17868 Highway 18, Ste. 332, Apple Valley, CA 92307 Attn: Parade of Patriots.
Produced by the American Spirit Network and its family of companies, the Route 66 Autorama and Lifestyle Expo will benefit autism awareness, the mentally challenged, SELPA and First 5 through the Diamond Hearts Foundation. In addition to the parade, the event will include opening ceremonies, a barbecue challenge, car show, product sales, memorabilia and automobile auctions and more.
