TO BE GREAT IS TO BE MISUNDERSTOOD
Know thyself. Trust thyself. Insist on yourself, never imitate. A political victory, a rise of rents, the recovery of your sick, or the return of your absent friend or some other favorable event, raises your spirit, and you think good days are preparing for your. DO NOT BELIEVE IT. Nothing can bring you peace but yourself. Nothing can bring you peace but the triumph of principals.
Self-trust is the essence of heroism. It is the state of the soul at war. Its ultimate objects are the last defiance of falsehood and wrong.
Don't promote envy it is ignorance, imitation is suicide. Take yourself for better see that this wide universe is full of good. You have power within to do how much is not known until you have tried.
Learn to express yourself, don't be ashamed of your ideas and what you represent. Put your heart into your work know you have DONE YOUR BEST. Keep your dreams and hopes, accept what you have done, and learn to BE AT PEACE.
SPEAK THE TRUTH keep disappointment to a minimum. Beware of the piercing eyes of others who judge you by past acts.
Carry your head high, share your wisdom, and fill other hearts with the joy of life. Speak positive words TODAY, and again speak positive words TOMORROW. Avoid conflict, realize there will be a contradiction. Do not concern yourself with misunderstanding. IS IT SO BAD TO BE MISUNDERSTOOD? Every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh was misunderstood. TO BE GREAT IS TO BE MISUNDERSTOOD.
